How do I test if my colors are accessible?

To test color accessibility:

  • Use tools like WebAIM Contrast Checker or WhoCanUse to check contrast ratios.

  • Follow WCAG 2.1 standards: 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text.

  • Simulate color blindness with plugins like Sim Daltonism or Figma’s Able plugin.

  • Test across light and dark modes to maintain consistency.

Color accessibility is key for inclusive design—covered more in our What are accessible colors post.
