Can I convert Canva to Figma?
Canva and Figma are separate platforms, and unfortunately you cannot directly import a Canva file into Figma as an editable design.
Designers who want to move a design from Canva to Figma usually take a manual approach. You can can bring exported assets from Canva into Figma – for example, import an SVG, which might preserve some shapes and text as vectors.
However, be prepared that not everything will translate cleanly; text might become outlines and certain effects may flatten into images.
In most cases, you’ll end up using the Canva output as a reference in Figma: placing the exported image in a Figma canvas and then recreating the design using Figma’s own text boxes, shapes, and components.
It’s a bit of work, but it gives you a fully editable Figma file in the end. Essentially, there’s no one-click conversion between the two, but with some effort you can migrate a design by rebuilding it within Figma.
